Warranty

We have secured a very comprehensive Warranty and Assist for you that is provided by AutoTrust who are part of the Car Care Plan Group. They are also the underwriters for the JLR Used Car Warranties that the Jaguar and Land Rover dealers use, Their warranties are designed to help with the cost of repairs, including labour, VAT and replacement parts.

You have the option once the warranty period is over to extend this cover further should you wish direct with AutoTrust.

We would like to point out that if a repair is not covered by this warranty, then it’s not a covered item as we offer no further warranty above this warranty.

You may take your vehicle to any VAT registered repairer you wish, but of course we may be able to help you or the manufacture dealer who produced your vehicle.

Payment

All cars purchased must be paid in full prior to collection. Full payment must be received within 14 days or the car will be put back on the market and the deposit will be held to cover costs incurred.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Buy Back Terms

All vehicles that are requested for a return the following is required / applied;

  • In its original condition i.e. no new damage or faults
  • All documentation is with the vehicle including Log Book, MOT, Service history and any additional paperwork that was given at hand over
  • All accessories or extras must be with the car including the spare keys, mats, spare wheels etc. or charges will apply for missing items
  • A deduction will be applied for “fair use” from the refund amount if for example more than average mileage is done or the vehicle us returned very dirty
  • Refund will be done once the vehicle is fully checked over and no new issues are found
  • Refund will take 14 days or more to process

Sale or Return / Vehicles On Site

Wallis and Son's insurance policy advised that all customers vehicles not owned by Wallis and Son and left on site are at owners risk a that a minimum insurance policy to cover 'Third Party, Fire and Theft' by the owner is in place. Wallis and Son's policy will not cover loss by Theft or Fire. Our insurance policy will still cover the vehicle during road testing and while driven by our staff. Please make sure your vehicle is covered if not already so when leaving with us.

Deposits

A Deposit will be taken for the purchase of all vehicles. Due to preparation costs and loss of business the deposits are non-refundable.
