Cars are one of those essential things you must take care of, to ensure the longevity of your car it is important to make sure it is looked after by regular servicing of your vehicle. As if your car is left without a check up for too long this is when minor problems turn into major issues. As if a minor issue is left too long problems may amount to a higher repair bill with further things needing repair, therefore leading to a more expensive repair bill, so to prevent this from happening we strongly advise regular check ups.

I personally believe having your car serviced yearly is the right way to go. As it is not a burden, and as it is only annually it is easy to get out the way before a problem is encountered from a lack of care and attention. But if you use your cars rigorously and often, such as if you have a job requiring you to use your personal vehicle a lot, or you have a job where you must travel many miles to get to, it is advised to get it checked a lot more regularly. We advise to get it checked every 6-8 months as if you are using your vehicle a lot more than the average person, you will therefore be more likely to encounter an issue with your car sometimes more serious or more often through wear and tear, as you use it more often and it has travelled more miles than the average road user.

We also advise you see your manufacture for more information as if your car is very unique or special, it will more likely need to be serviced and care for a lot more. As certain cars require more care than others. For instance if you owned an expensive model of car, the repairs will cost a lot more than normal, so to be safe we recommend more up to date checks on your cars well being. But if you drive a regular car which is built to withstand the road, I recommend you follow or advise what we first stated.

When deciding whether to get your car serviced or not, it is so essential to the longevity of your vehicle. As the average service of your car takes only around 3 hours it is hardly a chore, to ensure your vehicle is safe, efficient and healthy.
